ten words to sell myself

'Sell yourself in ten words or less.' This topic was a challenge for me as I'm not one to 'blow my own trumpet' as the saying goes! I always find this the hardest statement to answer in an interview. I'm not very good at saying what I'm good at; I am trying to work on this!

So, I thought of a sentence that defines me as a blogger. I always respond to comments that people leave on my blog; I love to receive them myself. It makes me feel part of the blogging community and it's such a great way to get to know others.

I hope I have been able to 'sell myself' to you.

      My mind always goes blank, I always have to write things down beforehand!

    I try really hard to respond to all comments but am not always successful...I may need to make it my new mission...I think its a great quality ....

      Thanks Rachael, it has been a challenge but you are right it is enjoyable. I've done more writing than I've ever done on the blog and I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to do it.

    Feel like I am just restating the others thoughts. Like Trish said your awesome because you reach out and it is an awesome quality to be both polite and respond to comments. Or comment on people's blogs on your own accord. I think it gives people a good feeling inside especially since they are taking the time to write out their thoughts and your comments acknowledge that there is somebody out there who takes some interest in what is being said. Well done!

      I'm used to just putting a few words and pictures up so having to write every day was a challenge but I think I'm getting into the swing of it!

    I came to your blog from your comment on mine! I chose convivial as I did not want to use two words to say "fun loving"!! I did not just want to say fun, as to me that might not be true from another's perspective, but I know in myself that I love to have fun!! I LOVE words, if you search, you can often find one word to convey the exact concept or idea that you have in mind.

    I like your interpretation, and I agree that it is difficult to blow your own horn! And I love comments too, makes me feel like someone is reading. I know I need to expand my writing skills, so this seemed to be the perfect challenge for that. I'd also love to be on a card making/stamping design team one day, but obviously I need to step up my crafting posts! LOL
